I stayed in the double room on the second floor of the castle. The room had a cozy vibe with a lovely garden view from the window. I loved having a tea/coffee maker, perfect for my morning brew. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot weather. Plus, the private entrance and microwave in the suite made me feel like I had my own little apartment. a delightful stay!
The only downside was that the room was accessible only by stairs. But hey, that's just my personal opinion.

Staying at this historical castle belonging to the same family is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. The price is really affordable and worth it for any history buffs out there, as it's the place where Napoleon III signed his capitulation. The authentic and cozy feel of the rooms adds to the charm, and the landlady is incredibly kind and helpful. The recently decorated studio was a pleasant surprise with its mix of old and new, comfortable beds, and clean bathroom. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during hot summer temperatures. The abundance of drinks and snacks provided was a nice touch, and the views of the surrounding greenery were beautiful. The peaceful location in the French Ardennes is perfect for a relaxing getaway, and there are some nearby lakes to explore. this place is fantastic for those looking for something different and memorable, with great value for money. I would definitely return!

I keep coming back to my favorite spot in Glaire-et-Villette. The staff was kind and even helped me with printing. With a bar/lounge and an electric kettle, it's just what I need. I always return for a romantic escape. No regrets!

I recently stayed at Chateau De Bellevue for a few nights and it was a unique and memorable experience. The castle, located just outside Sedan, is surrounded by a beautiful forest, creating a grand and impressive entrance. The rooms were cozy and practical, with lovely colors and refurbished bathrooms. The landlady was kind, generous, and incredibly helpful, making us feel right at home. The peaceful and green surroundings of the French Ardennes added to the romantic vibe of the place. Additionally, the option to prepare our own meals and enjoy them on the patio was a nice touch. it was a great value for money and I will definitely visit again.
I do recommend this hotel.

The room on the second floor of the castle was absolutely charming! It had a cozy ambiance and offered a lovely view of the garden. Plus, having a tea/coffee maker in the room was a delightful bonus. As a coffee lover, it made me feel right at home!
Personally, I didn't love the fact that the room was only accessible by stairs. But hey, that's just my preference.

What a charming little castle we found during our holiday! The location was perfect, nestled near the border of France and Belgium, making it a convenient stop on our way back to the Netherlands from Champagne. The castle's exterior had a slightly abandoned look, but once inside, we were pleasantly surprised. The owner, a lovely lady, shared the fascinating history of the castle during the Franco-Prussian War, adding to the overall experience. The apartment we stayed in was meticulously designed with attention to detail, making it a cozy and unique place to stay. The owner's dedication to improving the castle was evident, and we look forward to seeing its future development.
While our stay at the castle was mostly enjoyable, there were a few areas that could be improved. The castle's exterior gave off an abandoned vibe, which may be misleading for some guests.

We had a delightful stay at a charming historical property. The hostess was welcoming and shared fascinating stories about the castle's past. Despite some minor issues like a loose toilet seat and a sink, the overall experience was memorable. The location was off the beaten track, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The nearby fort in Sedan added to the historical significance of the chateau. We would definitely recommend this unique and authentic stay. an enchanting experience that we would happily repeat.

The service is excellent, with a friendly and helpful host who goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyable. The peaceful Chateau gardens offer a lovely spot to relax and unwind. this hidden gem is a wonderful place to escape and immerse yourself in history.
One small drawback is that some parts of the castle may still be undergoing renovations, which can be slightly inconvenient.
